For this grand classical ballet i focussed on the journey of marie, the main character, to be made visible. Her dream- journey begins with the opening of the walls of the family home on christmas evening, and take her to places of her own imagination. She experiences the living room grow into a vast space, where time has a different pace and a chandelier transports her and the nutcracker prince to a fairy ballroom. At the end of her journey, when the ballroom and her home intersect, and she wakes up to be a different person, richer in experinces.
